    Whats with the face covers.

Some police jurisdictions are sensitive to having their police - especially the national or counter-terror agencies - faces shown. In this age of facial recognition programs, and even just a desire to keep those personnel confidential, they allow for it/require it.

Thought that may be the case.

    Whats with the face covers.

All police anti-terrorist units in Europe always cover their faces. They are not regular cops.
It's even illegal to show their faces in some countries.Journalists have to blurr their faces if they are not wearing balaclavas.

Yep, not to mention the pyschological effect, protection from fire etc.

Crazy how many people are getting shot in countries with commonsense gun laws.

So, where are all the people saying only the US has these problems?

Not here, on INGO. But in the "world".

Most of them are probably in the US.

In his June 18, 2015, remarks from the White House, Obama said, "Now is the time for mourning and for healing. But let’s be clear: At some point, we as a country will have to reckon with the fact that this type of mass violence does not happen in other advanced countries. It doesn’t happen in other places with this kind of frequency. And it is in our power to do something about it."

Tanis was previously known to police. He has a varied criminal record that includes attempted manslaughter in 2013 — when he was accused of firing a gun at an apartment building in the same area as Monday's attack, according to local broadcaster RTV Utrecht. And earlier this month, Tanis appeared in court over a rape allegation from 2017, the agency reports.

Unpossible! This stuff only happens in the US.

Yep, the poor SAS trooper that was the hero of the Kenyan deal is now burned. No more DA missions for him, likely no more foreign deployments period.

When adjusted by population size, no, the US is not tops in violence, or mass shootings.

So, does Mexico not count? They keep them stacked up down there like cord wood.

But then they do buy them from the states. Maybe we should re-enforce the border...

Oh, sorry, it is much more popular a thought to project our freedom to others than afford them to those who live here. My bad...
