She certainly has at least one part of being a successful politician down, it's the part about not getting caught she needs to work on.

What a moron. Did she think that making such outrageous claims wouldnt be discovered?

Its one thing to claim to have helped countless people on scene, where in the fog of war nobody would likely be able to prove she wasnt there. But to claim to be a doctor? Wow. Epic fail. Oh, wait, she's an anti gun Democrat. I'm being redundant.

    From the article:

"After thoughtful contemplation, due to professional obligations, I am withdrawing as a Democratic candidate seeking the nomination and election in Florida House District 28,'' McCarthy wrote.

What professional obligations? She's not a doctor. She's not even a nurse. Professional liar maybe? Or maybe the restaurant she works at is short-staffed? :dunno:

The article says she was a nurse, then ran a medical supply company until 2014. Didn't say what she's doing these days. Probably not cardiology, though . . .:)

Considering continuing education requirements for the medical profession; it's likely she can't be a "nurse" anymore, either anymore than I can claim to be an EMT after not keeping up with it for 20 years.

Wow. So I assume she was trying to add shock value to the shooting by making this up, to make the guns more "scary" perhaps. What a shame. Those people need to get ahold of themselves.

The fact that apparently nobody tried to check out her story until she ran for public office tells you why she felt safe making up that story. The vast majority of the media wouldn't bother to check it because it fit so well with their established narrative.

    Your timeline is way off.

She filed in March, and she made the claim in June. She made the claim about pulling bullets from victims on June 12th. On June 15th Florida Politics ran the story about the veracity of her story (i.e. she lied). Three days - that's a pretty decent turn around if you ask me.

Well, that fits the INGO established narrative. (all media is leftist)

But, I'd wager that the shift to "rapid journalism" and news aggregate sites that just parrot stories and add some commentary has thrown fact checking into the ditch - "ain't nobody got time to get the facts checked!" That sort of old-fashioned journalism requires money, money no one wants to spend on journalism.

It's hard for me to believe that anyone with any level of experience in the medical field would tell such an obviously false story. I would think a nurse would come up with something more believable.

Let me make an analogy. Imagine a person claimed to be a firearms expert and said: "That John Brownstein really knew what he was doing when he designed the Colt 911." That's how believable her story was.
