How so? Hong Kong is officially part of China, with "Special" exceptions. In mainland China thinks there should be a crackdown, on those "Chinese who think they're still British," who is going to step in? We are certainly not, the British can't mobilize that quickly, and would smacked pretty hard mano y mano vs China. Now I think there would be a huge International uproar, and economically, it might severely hurt China, but a domino effect taking down China, North Korea, and Iran? That difficult to believe. I think it will go exactly how China thinks it will, and they've already "priced in" the consequences should they act.
