Arizona man who sold ammunition to Las Vegas massacre gunman

    https://www.foxnews.com/us/las-vegas...-pleads-guilty

So if this guy had bought a Type 6 FFL he would not be in court at all?
Does the Type 6 FFL cover reloading/manufacturing ammo to sell?

Law enforcement first began to investigate Haig after discovering unfired .308-caliber (7.62mm) rounds in gunman Stephen Paddock’s hotel room, the Mercury News reported. Haig’s fingerprints, as well as tool marks from his workshop, were found on two of the rounds,
Hey, that's pretty impressive investigative work there....

and his address was on a box that police found near Paddock’s body, court documents said.
    Oh...a little less impressive.

That's the first I've heard that he used any 7.62x51 firearms. I thought they were all standard (5.56x45) AR-15's. It was the bump stocks that made them extra-killified.

This shooting went away as quickly as it happened. . . why?

One theory I heard it may have been a F&F gun. Just curious what others thought.

I think motives were discovered that ran counter to the narrative that benefits the MSM, so they decided to brush it under the rug.

After all, he was a democrat shooting attendees of a country music festival, not hard to draw your own conclusions as to why the media might just not want to cover it.

I dunno. It seemed like the casino was really interested in not having any more details reported. It seems a little deeper than just narrative guarding by the media.

There are lots of things that made the whole thing seem scary to many folks. That's my belief why it went away. Lots of unanswerable questions.

    Professional gambler?
Lost millions in the preceding weeks?
Lots of guns in a hotel room?
Mysterious "Sniper" mathematics left on a notepad calculating bullet drop showing premeditation?
    Bumpstocks, what are those?
Security guard inaction and police response time?
Can't figure out a motive because he wasn't posting about it on his Facebook page?
    What about the hotel's reputation?
What about the outdoor venue's reputation?
    What about Las Vegas' reputation?
What about the possibility for copycats at other large venues?
He researched other places where hotels overlooked outdoor venues?!?

That's about the last I heard of anything. They found a patsy and they blamed it on a piece of plastic.

Time to move on because if people really thought about this it might effect their lives.

Sometimes crazy a-holes do crazy a-hole stuff.

Why do we expect that there HAS to be more?

Because we need to assign blame and responsibility, pass laws, make certain that this never happens again and if it helps prevent one life from being lost it will be worth it.

As in another thread I just read, because... feelings!

Thanks! I believe that was my first purple post.

    Wow, first post-whoring now purple...

Aside from all that, yes I agree. Sometimes crazy a-holes do crazy stuff. I've always seen that as a price to pay for a free society. A free society has a LOT of upsides to it but we should accept that almost EVERYTHING has a downside, including free societies.

Sometimes it might even be FUN to participate in some kinds of crazy a-hole stuff as long as no one is injured and property damage has not occurred, been repaired or restitution has been offered.
