"Two members of the public have died and another three people were injured in a stabbing attack at London Bridge, the Met Police's commissioner has said.

Cressida Dick told a press conference the stabbing attack, which has been declared a terrorist incident, began at an event at Fishmonger's Hall.

Within five minutes of being called officers confronted the suspect - who was shot dead by police - she said.

The suspect was wearing what is thought to have been a hoax explosive device.

He was a former prisoner and convicted of a terrorist offence, sources have told the BBC."

Police said they were still searching for a suspect and no arrests had been made after the attack at about 19:45 local time"

London Bridge: Two killed in stabbing attack

How's that knife ban working out for you Great Britain? Oh yeah and by the way? The stabber was killed by a cop with a... wait for it... gun.

[h=1]London Bridge: Two killed in stabbing attack[/h]https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-50604781

Apparently the stabber was part of ISIS, or at least an ISIS sympathizer. But by golly, at least they're inclusive...

"The actions of the public have been widely praised, including by Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn and Ms Dick, who said they had shown "extreme courage".She added: "Ours is a great city because we embrace each other's differences."

    Good luck with that...

Bracken Anthology #13: I will not submit. I will never surrender.

Read it, INGO. I won’t quote it out of respect for his copyright, but the last part of this short essay is priceless.

The whole thing is a great read.

World news when two people get killed in London, doesn’t really matter whether it’s a knife, gun, truck...
Check out how many killed in Indy or Chicago today before you get on your high horse. None of those killings are making world news since it’s an everyday occurrence.
How are the UK laws any less effective than those in the US considering the daily carnage?

The point is, no matter what "weapon" they ban, it's not going to stop evil people from doing evil stuff. Fortunately, I still believe that the evil people are in the minority compared to the good people. So why penalize the vast majority that don't use guns, knives, whatever, for evil purposes because of the actions of evil people? By taking away the means to defend themselves against people that would do them harm, they are in fact putting the law abiding at a disadvantage.

Once again we show: 1)laws banning objects by law abiding citizens do not deter those intent on doing evil; 2)Good guys with guns are often the answer to stop people doing evil things; 3)Unarmed, law abiding citizens get hurt and die when they're unable to defend themselves with proper arms.

The Brits have always been more restrictive than us. That is why we started shooting them in the face in 1775. I can see why they are a little gun shy.

OK where was anyone on a high horse before your post. We are all so desensitized anymore it is just a numb state of mind. My comment was toward prohibitions of any sort.

And I agree. But knife kills are not the MSM agenda right now.
