Just heard about this guy. Running for Congress and hopefully has a shot at replacing the POS Visclosky, although I'm not sure a Republican has a chance in this area, but I'm hopeful enough people are fed up with the Democratic machine.

Here's a link to Spencer Lemmon and what he's all about. Looks like he's got my vote!

We have lost before we have begun, heck we didn't even try.

Well I guess it is a lost cause.

Yeah. It's a shame so many think like this. I for one am forwarding Lemmons website to everyone I know. I'm gonna do what I can to help spread the word about him. I've requested a yard sign as well for when it gets closer to election time.
While I do have a feeling the Dems will get the win I will not just give up.

If everyone can forward this guys info to 2-3 friends or family and each one of those people forwards it, and so on, maybe we can get the change that's needed.

I for one am going to remain hopeful

And you think you will convince people that always vote straight D to suddenly change and vote for him?

I hope he wins. I just have no confidence that he will.

I dont neccesarily disagree with you. The freeloaders and the union members put a strong democratic stranglehold on this area. There's no doubt about it. But that's not gonna stop me from at least trying to get people interested in a new candidate even though he's Republican

I wish you much success. It will be nice to see someone other than Leyva running.

Looks like right now he has one opponent in the primary.

I'll have to look at them both in some detail.

Well I don't know anything about Spencer Lemmons

But I do know a police officer before being hired...

    Has
    A full medical exam
    A physical abilities test
A full review with a psychiatrist
A drug test before and while working
    A lie detector test
They must pass all before being offered a job

    A politician has to pass?

I agree. I have voted for the R since I've been in the 1st Dist. No joy.

Lemmons looks like a good candidate. If there was ever a time for a change, it is when there is no incumbent in the race.

If the D lost 10 of Visclosky's points, he will still win (2018- D-65.1%, R-34.9%). It's possible, but not likely....but let's not give up.

Well I guess there is only one person in NWI that will be working for change, so I guess the rest of us are right.
