    I was unsure where to post this as it is political. The only other recent thread I found after a search was about Virginia counties potentially moving to West Virginia, for which there is a Constitutional process involving the respective state legislatures and the US Congress. Admin: please feel free to move it if it's appropriate somewhere else.

    The Virginia Governor's pet Assault Weapons Ban Bill failed in a state senate committee. It's dead for this legislative session. I've no doubt as long as there is Democrat control of the legislature and the Governor's Mansion that the Creature from the Black Lagoon will return. Story here:
