Are you concerned about the ever growing censorship being imposed by spiritually motivated corporations? I say spiritually motivated because just as with laws political motivation always has it's source in spiritual beliefs. And frankly, the being that global governance is intended to benefit hasn't been much of a secret since Gutenberg.

All too apparent at this point is that old defensive pablum about corporations only being interested in making money is a load on baloney.
Apparent also is that Benito Mussolini was correct when he said that fascism is more properly termed corporatism.

Any how, I hadn't seen very much in the way of direct discussions on the censorship being imposed so I thought I'd start a topic.

    Just an open question...
Observing the actions of infotainment and consumer upload corporations, how can anyone doubt they are witnessing a conspiracy at work?

There does not even have to be a conspiracy, half the country and most of the big corporations want money from China and are will to sell our soul to get that money, our money, sent to China to buy crap...

Corporatism doesn't mean what you think it means, especially if you're invoking fascism.

A fascist corporation is a government body that brings together federations of workers and employers syndicates to regulate production in a holistic manner. Each trade union would theoretically represent its professional concerns, especially by negotiation of labour contracts and the like. It was theorized that this method could result in harmony amongst social classes.

I think we are already in an information civil war and are losing badly.

Come on man. Not only does any ism never find human expression in precise conformance to a theoretical model, but fascism is in practice an execution of corporatism.

Hey, ever walk around Washington DC and look at the fasces used in ornamentation in the architecture? Or how about post offices built before our involvement in WWII, back before fascism and eugenics were given a bad name? That's back when Indiana congress critter Sam Pettengill published his book "Smoke Screen" about our country's descent into national socialism.

The foundation for these ism's is the relentless grinding illogic of "scientific humanism", a core set of beliefs with its own schisms and zealots. That's been the road we're going down and still on. That's very much what's behind the implementation of corporate control. Hmm, and perhaps another facet as to why they suffer from TDS. Any how, I suppose you can tell it's of interest to me or else I would do something else. Maybe watch ball games or play with legos.

The word you're looking for is corporatocracy.

That's what most people mean when they mistakenly use corporatism. As corporatism is a happy medium sitting between socialism and capitalism, commonly referred to as "3rd position" economics.
And yeah, precise language matters to me when the definitions are basically polar opposites.

Even though I use google daily, there is no doubt that they are a natural monopoly. Their deals with chosen providers, such as Apple, are egregious. Their advertising and first page responses to queries are allegedly skewed toward profitability rather than objective merit.

    Herein lies the problem... Advertising.

These companies don't need consumers for their profits, they will have foot traffic no matter what they do through their various deals.
The product they are selling isn't to you, or the average public, the product is advertisement for other businesses.

It remains disturbing to me that anti-trust suits haven't been continually filed against google for the past decade, much less today. Where are democrats on this issue? Isn't that their gig?

No, that's not the word I'm looking for.
About "the third way" as President Clinton termed it, really liking to throw that around, at the time it just went right over most everyone's heads as though the term never registered on their consciousnesses. There was the president of the United States talking about the change in our form of government. And everybody went duh. And people are still going duh, not having a clue what happened.
