Beekeepers who like mead?

I've been making mead (honey wine) for the last few years and am interested in a local source of honey.

Ron,
With the State Fair in progress, I'd suggest you pop in and see the beekeepers in the Ag/Hort building. Lots of beekeepers there and lots of info on contacting local producers for specialty honeys.

I've never had any luck making mead although I've made wine out of everything from grapes to pawpaws, you must have a good system going, congrats.

As mrjarrell said, there is a large beekeeping exhibit at the state fair. Ag building is on the southwest side, near the covered bridge.

Not super central, but we have loads of local honey in Richmond. And I'll bet Good Earth in Broad Ripple has a hook up

I've never had any luck making mead .....

I am surprised with this. What is your technique or process? I have had far less trouble with mead than wine and beer.
