With the latest legislation, is the 7mm-08 now legal for hunting deer in Indiana? (Private land). Thanks.

Yes. A good overall round for deer also.

Gonna re-barrel a rifle to 7-08. Seems like a good round and very good results from those who use it. gonna add it to the "want to shoot a deer with this", gonna be a lot of deer die this year for trying out different cals and comparing results. Last year the 243 proved itself as I knew it would, the 300 bo too was impressive. This year the 6.5 CM, 7 remmag (it'll work), 45/70 and 7mm-08 will all get tested.
