Spring peepers

Heard many frogs on the pond this afternoon. Hopefully a sign of early spring. I also had several red wing black birds roosting in the trees this evening

yup, the neighbor's pond is alive again with frog song. Love it. Mushrooms here we go.

Yes sir, my neighbors pond had the peepers singing last night. I think when it was extremely cold in mid November to mid December that winter actually started a month early and is now ending a month early. It hit 80 degrees down here in SE Indiana today for record high. But the Ohio River is at flood stage and we are supposed to get 4 days of rain.

Noticed the peepers last evening. I'm going from memory here, but it may have also been the end of Feb last year when I first heard them.

Spring

If you like the sounds of spring you should get tinnitus. You’ll hear the frogs and birds all year round !

Woodcock are doing there song and dance all around my lace, always a welcome sign.
