    The black bear I bow killed in Ontario in 2015. Just got it back from the taxidermist. Hoosier Trapper Supply did the work. Great job. My wife actually suggested a full body mount but I thought it would overpower our family room. I plan to build an octagonal pedestal base for it.

    I don't think I've ever seen a head mount of a bear like that before, looks really good. Why did it take three years to get it back?

    The bear weighed 300#.

    I initially left the bear with a taxidermist (I won’t name) who did nothing for 18 months. I finally got the hide back and then took it to Hoosier Trapper. They did an excellent job - turnaround time for them was 15 months.

    Gotcha. I thought maybe there was some difficulty getting it across the border or something. Congrats, it looks great!
