2018 Deer reduction hunts

When does DNR announce the results for the state park reduction hunts?
They've announced draw results for dove, but I can't find anything on the deer draws.

About the 27th/28th they should be up online.

The application period is not closed yet. The draw results will be out after September 1st as listed on the application page.

The conformation email they sent me after I applied states that results may be checked after Sept 1st. Seeing how that's a Saturday and the following Monday is Labor Day, I'd look for the results to be available Tuesday September, 4th.
Just a guess, I'm wrong way more than I'm right.

Thought the DNR page said 2 weeks after the close of applications the results would be up?
Ohh well, they will soon tell me that once again I did not get selected.

I got all excited when I found an email today from IDNR saying they had draw results, only to be disappointed.
I only applied for the state park hunts.
I wish they'd get off their donkeys and post those results.
Inquiring minds want to know...

When i have entered the draw for the St. Parks,I have gotten drawn every time. The secret is to apply with a buddy or a family member.I have not hunted in a few years .

Results are posted on the DNR website. I got drawn for Big Oaks for Bow, Firearms and Muzzleloader!. Actually, i got drawn for Bow and Muzzleloader and my buddy got drawn for Firearms. I have not hunted there before...any tips on location to set up?

I'm curious.
Do you have a "Hunter Education" I.D. number?
I did not last year and was turned down.

A friend told me that people WITH the Hunter Education I.D. numbers got preferential treatment on the draws.
I broke down last year and took the B.S. online course. It cost me $20.
I was technically exempt because of my age, but I took it anyway, passed, and received my number.
This year I was drawn.
Don't know if it had anything to do with my success or not.

Can you do the state hunts alone if you didn't put a partner on the app, my buddy was drawn for 2 brown county hunts and didn't put a buddy on it
