A buddy came up to the farm house I'm renting in Minnesota last weekend. We hit 3 different lakes over 3 days. The first day was catch and release only. The second day we fished Lake Rebecca in Hastings, and the 3rd day we fished Lake Sarah, about 20 miles west of Minneapolis.

We had fun. Kept about 50 between Sunday and Monday, combination of Bluegill, Sunfish, and Crappie. Limit on panfish in Minnesota is 20 per day per person. Also 1 dinky perch that we kept because it swallowed the hook and would have been a floater, and 1 nice size bullhead that also went back. Threw back a whole bunch of little bait thieves also.

    Great fun!

Looks like a nice relaxing day out on the water, most importantly.

3 straight days of fishing. Very relaxing. The only stress was not knowing how much juice my new battery had, whether it would last all day. The lake we fished Sunday is electric motors only. But it did fine, still had 15% charge left according to the meter on my charger. That's the first time out with this battery, so next time I'll have more confidence in how far I can push it.

Not familiar with the farm truck guy but now I'm going to have to check it out.

Sunday and Monday were really good days. Two extraordinary meals plus a little left for breakfast this morning. Now I need to go get some more!
