    Good. I wonder if it's that same one that was living in Big Oaks a few years ago. Edit: Bummer because the bear may not survive the accident.

    Has anyone else heard anything. I thought I heard on the radio today that the bear had been hit and killed.

    I'm going to start packing my 629 that Bosshoss did the excellent trigger job on me for me and Saul's walks at Lapping Park....To the guys up north I want you all to know that this bear was not in "the woods" of Southern Indiana...My cousin is a Floyd County Deputy and he said that was one weird call he got on the radio....

    I mean this was "in town"....2 miles from downtown New Albany and 3 miles to downtown Louisville....

    They took blood and hair from the vehicle and the ground, the testing confirmed it to be a black bear.

    I guess that is better than a drunk local walking home from a costume party...
