Mods, please move this if it's in the wrong spot. I figured it'd go here since it's talking about getting outdoors and actually doing something rather than just technical gun chatter.

Anyway, I'd like to do the 2020 Mammoth Sniper Challenge and I'd like to start doing some competitions as a way to train up for it. I've been shooting out to 1,000 yards since '08, I've gone on many outdoor adventures, and this competition seems to wrap up everything I really enjoy into one big ball of fun/torture. As far as the shooting, hiking, fieldcraft part of this goes I think I have a solid enough base that I can at least attempt this challenge and perform solidly enough to come in last with my head held up high. Where I'm really lacking is any experience at all doing a "prs competition".

Has anyone here gone to any PRS style competitions? Are there any around NE Indiana that are hosted regularly?

Has anyone here done the Mammoth sniper challenge?
