I expected to see a very clogged up toilet. I'm warped after looking at Acteon pics :):

Thats a nice fish. My grandma would take me fishing as a kid and that was the best tasting fish imo.

    central indiana
A friend of mine just purchased some recreational acreage in central Indiana which has a 38 acre lake. He gave me a tour Friday and we fished a little. Very windy and hard to hold the boat in place, but a great 3 hours on the water. A lot of cookie cutter 1 lb largemouth, several bluegill, and some nice crappie. Especially this one. 15” and weighed an even 2 pounds. Caught on a Rapala crankbait no less.

Can’t wait for a little warmer weather when the fish are on the beds !

That's a nice one ! I can't wait either, just don't have a clue of where to go.

What kind of eel is this? It was attached to a crappie I caught today. It's still plenty alive after living on ice for a couple hours in the cooler. It detached itself from the fish it was connected to though.

Should I put it in the compost or hurl it into the pasture? Think the neighbor's chickens would like it for a snack?

    Lamprey?

Feed it to the chickens for sure. Poison the lake it came out of and wait 2 yrs b4 introducing fish again.
