For those of you who have been here any time at all, and have read many of my posts, you no doubt realize that I have the greatest uncle that ever lived.
This is strictly my opinion, but I have good reason(s) for feeling so.
O.k. a little over a year ago, my uncle surprised me and my two brothers with the gift of a lifetime.
He gifted us 50 acres of prime wooded bottom land, very close to the Wabash river.
I took the biggest buck I've ever harvested from this new ground this past November.
Well, the uncle appears to be at it again!
He called today to tell me he found ANOTHER 50 acres that he wants to look at.
This 50 is in Tippecanoe county. It is entirely in the flood plane, so no building, but fine for hunting/fishing.
He said this also butts against the Wabash river.
He asked if I would want to go with him to look at the new prospect.
What do you think?
I can hardly believe he is looking at buying even more ground, and especially since it will be of no use other than for sporting purposes.
Still, I couldn't be more excited!
I'm not holding my breath, but man this would be nice...
