Strange summer

Strange summer this year here in the GSF. Ive found no Chanterelles and the forest ferns are huge this year, waist high. Reminds me of the set in Jurassic Park.

I got into a good patch of chanterelles last week. North slope, 1/3 way up from bottom. Later in summer than usual, I least I think they were later.

Looks like glade fern, Diplazium pycnocarpon.

i have Chanterelles in my woods.....my ferns are growing good but not like yours...
