Nice bobcat in New Salisbury. The picture really looks like a young lion, can't see the pointed hair on the ears. This is how rumors get started by people who don't know better.
I've showed it to several people who thought it was a lion.

Meh. My neighbor has a dozen trailcams on his 200 acres, during deer season he checks them often and will get a bobcat on at least one of them every time. This is Owen County, well north of you.

My point is they are much more common in southern Indiana now than they were 2 decades ago.

Great picture. A good friend of mine has some land around English we camp on a few times a year.
He has some trail cams set but haven't seen any cats yet. Only a matter of time before one shows up.

Our property is right on the Floyd and Harrison county line. We’ve had them on the trail cam a few times the last few years. Last year I saw two while in my tree stand, pretty cool.

Here kitty kitty. Nice kitty! Want ear scritches???:n00b:

Ya'll are lucky getting these pic! I've lived out here going on 20 years, have had cam out almost that long and I've got one pic and it was lousy. Seen tracks many times, even have heard them a few times but can I see one or get a pic? Nooooooo!:(
