Wanted: quail, Chukars or pigeons

I need flight conditioned birds for training my Lewellin pup. Close to Morgan county but will drive a little. Any leads are greatly appreciated.

Around Orleans Indiana if they are still open, haven't been there in a lot of years, but they did have different birds like pheasant, quail, and chukar.

Most pay to hunt preserves keep the birds for pay hunts. There use to be several breeders that sold to dog trainers in central Indiana but I can’t find any now.

Never hurts to ask if they will sell birds, I checked the web, they are still in business.

Boy this takes me back. When I was a kid my Dad used to keep a quail pen in the basement for field training our Brittanys.

But that was 35 years ago and in PA, so I have nothing helpful to offer.
