Pretty cool but with the fatter barrel diameter, I wonder what type of mounting options will be available?

    That sumb!tch is UFO bright!

I see this as an ideal Christmas present (for myself).

It's cool and would be great for hunting or indicating directions, but for defense use you really need some significant spill.

Concur. And since I’m unlikely to actually try to hit anything at 2400 meters, will stick with my ThruNite TC20 which combines reasonable throw plus side spill and up to 3800 lumens.

After watching the video, it’s apparent you should not try to identify any object closer than 3/4 of a mile. Maybe more. Anything closer will reflect so much light you can’t tell what it is.

What about the light as the weapon? In places where knives and guns are banned, this light would be painfully blinding even in daylight.

at 7 yards, the attacker will end up looking like Toht.

Since it is enhanced laser it may be illegal, in some places, to shine it in someone's eyes

Useless as a flashlight. Dandy signaling device or defensive tool if a firearm isn't possible. Interesting technology.
