My son just pulled the trigger on 7.5 acres which sits in the middle of 60 acres of woods on the East and West. South side is approx 100 acres of crop land. No body hunts the 60 except us and now the 7.5. Just closed on it friday morning and we bushhogged the trail in and set up trail cam. Activity from friday and saturday.

    You're going to have fun.
Just over a year ago my brothers and I came into 50 acres of wooded bottom land, just hundreds of yards from the Wabash river in Fountain county.

It was no record, but I took the largest buck I've ever harvested (9 pointer) from this property last season.
Hoping to see a bigger one this year...

Good luck with your new territory.
