I do it from my porch...
The question: Where in Indiana can I hunt with .30-06 ammunition?
To the best of my understanding of Indiana's hunting regulation, there is currently no place where I can use that caliber while hunting in Indiana.
So, is there anywhere nearby where I could hunt with that caliber?
I undersand I could go to Alaska to hunt for bear, moose, or elk, or possibly to one of the western states, or maybe Pennsylvania.
Anyone have any suggestions or experience to point me in the right direction?

Any PRIVATE land in Indiana that is legal to hunt on, you can use a .30-06. Found in Indiana code 14-22-2-8.

I am assuming what they are saying is that they own and live on land where they can hunt from their front porches. I have a friend that owns a lot of land and we can hunt off of his front porch, though we use .308's instead of 30-06, but we could if we owned one.
You can hunt on PRIVATE land with a .30-06.

I'm not sure on this but are there caliber restrictions on other critters like coons or yotes?
