Is it time??? Think I'll re-clean the feeder to be ready.

I couldn't find this year's hummer thread so thought I'd start...

    yes, get them up.

Indy, so I expect them by April 15.
    some later near 30th.
I always try to have them full & changed about every 3 days ir when they start getting cloudy.
I always get a lull period for about 2 weeks first part of May where they suddenly disapear but then return.

I usually wait until my “regular customers” return, and patiently hover outside my window

My feeder is ready, but I'm holding out for consistent sightings here in the middle of the state. I did see a white pelican on Raccoon Lake Thursday, though! That was pretty cool. I'd never seen one here in my half century on the planet. Didn't know they migrated through here until now.

Yes, they do return each year. I even recognize one or two of them. They can live up to 12 years, and return to where they were hatched. They must have sone amazing internal GPS

I watched the PBS show "Nature" last night. It was about Cuba and it's wildlife and had a segment about a hummingbird species that lives there. The tiny nest was simply amazing. I don't think that I have ever seen one. Have any of you?
