Public Hunting Land - Deer Creek

Does anyone hunt the Deer Creek Fish and Wildlife Area near the Putnamville Correctional Facility? I was thinking about bow hunting there this season but have never hunted public land before and would love to talk to someone who is familiar with that land and see how it was there.

I hunted it a couple times right after it opened to the public because I knew there were some monster bucks in the area. I didn't really scout enough before hand so I got the results I expected. A couple nice days in the field.

Not sure what sort of pressure it gets but I think if you put in the work to figure it out it has the feel to me of a place that might hold some quality bucks.
