Looking for an outdoor range that's as close as possible to the East side of Indianapolis (say, an hour-ish at most). I need it to be kid friendly (11 and 13), and I would like a range up to 200 yards. I don't mind buying a membership if it's within reason. I want a place that's got built in shooting benches, target posts, etc (basically someplace that's well maintained). I'm teaching my kids to clean up brass, targets, etc when we are done shooting, and I want a place that has similarly minded people. I was looking at wheretoshoot.org, but I'm fairly certain it's not update much anymore, as some of the indoor ranges that are listed aren't open anymore. If anyone is familiar with the DNR range in Winimac, I'm basically looking for a place like that, though not 2 hours away.
