Looking to stop by the Whittington Center for a day and a night in June. Looking for a scouting report for anyone who has been there.

I spent a wonderful week there with a friend of mine and it was the most memorable time of my life.
So many shooting ranges to choose from, 12, I believe at that time.
Loved the lodges we stayed in.
Loads of Deer, Elk and all kinds of critters.

I loaded up my plane with all kinds of guns and ammo, try doing that in todays times.

Flew out and rented a car to get around in. Found a great restaraunt in Raton which is just a few miles up the road and like I said, I had the time of my life, would love to go back again.

Oh, it's been 20 some years ago.

The whole complex is about 10 miles wide and 20 miles long.

I made the reservation yesterday. Looking forward to some shooting, and the museum, library and gift shop as well. Never been to New Mexico so thought we would try it out.
