I have a couple custom builds I am working on, one of which the owner (n he will probably chime in ) :) insists on a Stainless full profile comp on his 2011.

I can not seem to find anybody that make them in stainless soooo. Here I am. it is coming out nice and was actually kind of fun. Only my second one i have made.

You did such a good job on the first one, i had to have a second! You know how much fun the carry comp 45 is to shoot, so this 10mm should be a blast....literally! :): And you can blame it on ChurchMouse!

This will be unique thats for certain, going to be a real crowd pleaser.
stop in next time you are in the neighborhood and lets touch base before I shorten the slide.

    .
Being ignorant about modern guns, I have to ask what this is and what it does. When I saw "profile crimp" I thought this was about reloading dies.

I see "profile comp" now, really should wear my glasses more often.

This works by weight or gas direction?

It will be a full profile single port compensator that will attach to the end of the barrel and lock up with the end of the slide. It will keep the muzzle down and make the pistol recoil straight back into your hand. Keeps the muzzle down and on target. This one in 10mm is going to be another AllenM masterpiece. (This one will be number 4 and counting....)

Feed and speed was somewhere in the range of 800 rpm and 5 ipm. I adjusted those numbers until it sounded right but that is close.

    it is 17-4 stainless

Nice work Allen. Working on something similar myself for a Glock, but using 416 Stainless to match the slide material... Access to a CNC Mill is a nice work perk...

Got a comp question to pick your brain (or anyone's) but I'll post fresh to not hijack.

That mill looks pretty open, is that a Bridgeport converted to CNC?
