2011 short block. Now it is going back to the owner for him to fit and blend and break in because he wants to be part of the process, which is fine by me he is more then capable to do a fine job from here. Then it will come back to me for paint work but I wanted to post a couple pics before it goes home.

Slide frame and barrel fit up and slide relieved for Infinity Hybrid barrel

He has caught the 2011 fever. I think right now this one is mostly for fun and maybe steel challenge stuff. He plans later to go with a 38 super barrel for USPSA. I short blocked a 2011 in .40 same scenario that he is using for USPSA Limited right now.

    lookin really sharp.
What's the name of that design type that has a reduced slide weight (less reciprocating), but that extra mass on the barrel? (If it has a name)

generally known as a "sight tracker." (sight moves less when attached to barrel than when attached to slide). I admit I don't know if that name still correctly applies on a open gun (no iron sights).
