    New 1911 Full Build

Starting another full 1911 build for a gentlemen. Certain parts are chosen by the future owner for their particular style, such as the flat trigger and slightly retro hammer. The rest are from a short list of high quality components. Nearly every part will need to be either machined or hand fitted. Lots of work ahead!

Here is a picture of some of the parts... Thank you! Andy Cree

First step is measuring.... then re-measuring.

.0005 tolerance over 6-1/2" of slide... I will take it. Beginning of tri-topping and 30-lpi top serrations.

Flat-topped the slide and cut the serrations. A bit of Dykem added for contrast to make the picture a bit clearer.
