Good Precision Rifle Gunsmith Around Southside Indiana

Does anybody know of any good precision bolt gun gunsmith around southside of indy? I'm looking to get a rem 700 action trued and barrel short chambered. Thanks

You call Ray Saltzman, out of Tipton Indiana he is VERY VERY good. He does all the custom work on my 1911's though his other specialty is long range rifles as he makes probably the best in the state , his lead time is pretty long currently but his prices are good as well.

You can also reach out to AllenM. He is a member here on INGO and is in Avon. He did a 300 Win Mag 700 project for a member here and documented the build in a thread under Diamond Collision. That's his full time gig. He is also a FFL also so no worries on leaving your rifle overnight with him. He also builds killer 1911/2011 pistols. (Don't ask me how I know....)

I freaken love my AllenM built 300wm rifle. He and Dean did a most excellent job on it. Zero regrets or doubts that I chose the right gunsmith.

Did I mention I love the rifle? lol.
