    Action wrenches are usually specific to a make/model of firearm. So it's hard to make a recommendation without knowing what you want to do. But there are also things like the Power Custom version which use a basic frame and then has "inserts" for specific models [Rem 700 vs Mauser vs Win 70, etc.] I like this model because it can be used either as an action wrench or barrel vise depending on which inserts you use. You can even get an insert for S&W revolver frames.     As for "breaking the bank" that always depends on your bank. :ugh: But I'm sure that most people here at INGO would advise against using anything but the best your budget will allow. Discount tooling has a way of producing more aggravation than results. And given the price of guns these days even little slips and dings can get expensive.
