Just got a Auto Ordance M1 carbine. I want a rear sight that is fully adjustable. Now I know the 50 dollar sight pusher is the best option. How hard is it to use a punch and hammer to remove the sight?

Anyone have a sight pusher tool that they would be willing to loan to me for a brief time. I am in the Hendricks county area.

Thanks for the insight and help guys.

Not familiar with the AO, but I have a Korean War issue Carbine and those rear sights were staked in place. I noticed mine was not staked in place and drove off pretty easy with a piece of dowel rod and a hammer.

I need to stake back in place since it won't stay in. After some shots at the range, it will fall out.:(
