I'm trying to get my uncles rifle repaired before deer season.
    It's a Remington model 700 in .25-06.
The ejector rod is stuck flush with the bolt face.
I removed the retaining pin, to no avail. Ejector is still stuck.

Does anyone know what the average turnaround time is for Remington?
I do not want to send it in if it will not be back in time for deer season.
The rifle still fires just fine. It will not eject the spent casing, leaving the shooter to remove it by hand.

Uncle really wants to use this rifle for the upcoming season.

I think you'll be waiting weeks for a 30 second fix.

Remington doesn't actually fix their own stuff, they hire gunsmithing services depending on what area of the country you live in so warranty could vary

Also, as mentioned above, it's generally an easy fix. Find someone local

Remington will probably want the whole rifle shipped back.
Better IMHO to just take the bolt to a decent 'smith.
If calling ahead/scheduled...... it might be done "while u wait".

I've had to send several rifles back over the last couple of years for people and the turn around time has been around 10 business days each time. Just had to send a 700 back for trigger repair and it took 6 days.
