I stumbled across this video on facebook and it is definitely worth a watch if you haven't seen it. The craftsmanship and painstaking details that go into making one of these doubles is amazing. While they do use modern cnc for some of the operations, there is a lot of hand fitting that is involved. Very impressive indeed.

I have a few Spanish SxS's including one in sidelock based on a Holland and Holland double....I had a book titled "Spanish best" by Terry Weiland....He said he visited the Arrietta factory while in the Basque region of Spain and saw ONE power tool in the shop, a drill press...

It was unplugged and covered with dust...The engraving room has canaries at every table that sings for the engravers as the go about their day....Big windows and all natural light....

Definitely hand crafted but at the other end of the spectrum... The last video about the Khyber pass area was very interesting. $150 for a krink, but here a freakin demilled krink kit is over 1k

You do know it would not be an original Krink... It would be a Knock off at best?? true considering the price break it may not matter that much.. Would hate to go through the paper work to get it back in the country.. :(
