    Thanks for the replies! Sounds like both of the above recommended smiths do great work. Mark 1911 - the work on your Glock 20 looks like top tier quality - very impressive!

    Thank you AllenM. After looking at the work you performed on Mark 1911s Glock above I might be interested in having one of my semi autos milled for a reflex style sight. Ever work on a Smith & Wesson Shield?

    On the Smith 27-3 revolver I simply don't see the sights well enough to make shooting enjoyable. My Smiths that are factory drilled and tapped all have some kind of red dot or low power scope.
