wanted to give a shout out about gunsmith jerry johnson.
had him install a barrel on my garand (308 criterion). i stripped the rifle, leaving on the rear sight.
he had the barrel changed and headspaced in the time it took me to get a burger and visit a local gun shop.
everything looked lined up when i picked up the rifle.
shot the rifle about 5 days later and only need 2 clicks left windage to get good groups at 50 yds.
no problems feeding, firing or ejecting.
for $65 while you wait, compared to other installers that say 90 days wait, i am thrilled.
