Is “Jackleg, amateur, garage gunsmith” in any way related to WECSOG? (Wile E. Coyote School of Gunsmithing)

Aaaahhh......... If only I had access to the tooling that ACME industries has then my woes would be solved.

I have become........ Indisposed. That's why I redacted my post, I have developed a more pressing priority. Um, no! I didn't shoot my eye out! nevertheless I don't have time for my silly little pistol now.

I Have developed (another!) a health issue that has bumped my silly projects aside for now. For the curious, I am/was on a quest to mod a ridiculous little kit gun to more accurately resemble the 1866 Wheeler patent derringer it is supposed to be a reproduction of. Add sights, drill for a missing even if redundant barrel retaining pin. Actually all I needed was the use of a drill press. Its kicked down the road now.
