THREADING A SHOTGUN BARREL FOR CHOKE

I was wondering if threading a shotgun barrel for a choke is a hard thing to do ? couldnt any gunsmith do that , is it hard to do ? Was wanting or thinking about buying a mossberg shockwave and having it threaded for chokes.I am using it for a camp gun in northern michigan on property I own.Having a regular barrel is hard to manuever in tight spaces.
