    Cold Blueing ??

Have a recoil plug from a 1911 looking to reblue. What's a good cold blue to use?

My favorite is “Van’s”. It works great AND has the added benefit of not smelling like cold blue.

Another vote for Van's, Have also used Brownells Oxpho-Blue.
Some times a little heat to the part helps. I use a hair dryer
