My father has been battling cancer for the last 8 years and recently we were given the dreaded "nothing more we can do" news from the doctors. He has since been placed on in-home hospice and now we are just enjoying all the time we have left.

My father's last wishes are to be cremated after he passes, and my question is this:

Could anyone point me in the direction of a person or company that builds custom guns? I am trying to find someone who will forge a gun with my father's ashes mixed in.

Thanks in advance and sorry again if this the wrong place for this post.

I’m sorry you’re facing this situation. Enjoy the time you have left and my prayers for your family...and your dad.

Sorry to hear about your dad. We put my Uncle Skeeter in some 44 Mag handloads mixed 90/10 with bullseye/ashes. We shoot him on his birthday every year.

Ashes in the metal won't work.
It will either burn off into smoke, or form slag which rises to the top of the metal and gets scooped off.

    .
You could mix some of the ashes with epoxy and cast grips out of that. Trapper Jim's idea sounds good.
