Any Sig Armorers who might be able to answer this question

A Sig P239 DAK , can this be converted back to typical da/sa without sending it back to Sig ?

I saw one for sale at a good price but I don't want the DAK , I just want a typical da/sa with a short reset trigger.
or should I walk away and wait until I find the one I want

Going to offer my 2 cents. The P239 is fairly hard to find. If you wait to find the one you want it could be a long wait. On the other hand, the cost of the P239 DAK plus conversion cost if it can be done could be more than worth it.

To add, the P239 BSS is my daughter's favorite carry pistol.

First I would call Sig and ask them what they would charge to do it. I saw a thread on SigTalk where guy reported they did it for him cheaper than he could buy all of the needed parts. The parts are getting harder to come by. Last post I could find said it would cost about $250-300 for the parts, if you can find them all. Personally, unless you are getting a heckuva deal, I would keep looking.

It can be done by sig but the conversion is one price then the srt is another charge.

I’d look at magazine availability as well due to the pistol is discounted

I’ve actually looked at the prices for a 220 and found it cost the Same just to buy one that’s dasa

I know top gun supply has a parts list on there page somewhere

    Just my 2 cents

I converted a P228 from DAO to DA/SA. The previous owner bought all the parts, but didn't do the conversion. I bought the gun with the parts and replaced the necessary stuff. It wasn't too hard.
