$185 SOLD in 4 days (b/c I wasn't available in 3, ha!)
I bought this last summer from a guy who inherited it from his father (who carried it) but it has just been in the safe since he got it.
No box came with it and it came with only 1 magazine.
I have put 100+ rounds through it at the range.
I thought I'd keep it but bought a Beretta 22LR tip-up barrel.
and don't need the Taurus any longer.
The PT22 is a .22 LR semi-automatic pistol produced by Taurus and features an 8+1 round capacity magazine.
The PT22 is a cast aluminum frame and steel slide, manufactured in Florida, USA.
It has a spur-less hammer and a long but smooth double action only (DAO) trigger.
The "tip up" barrel is useful in that the first round may be chambered directly into the barrel,
and the operator does not have to "pull back" or "rack" the slide.
The grip feel of the PT22 is "fat", and fills a normal-sized hand (I loved the feel of it for such a small gun).
The Taurus PT22 prefers high-velocity cartridges since the slide has such a tight spring on it.
For concealed carriers that refuse to carry without a safety, this gun does feature a manual thumb safety situated along the left side of the gun near the slide (I think it is a total waste with such a long double-action pull).
Must have your license to carry a gun permit
