I will probably regret this but I'm selling my Custom MKIV Series 70 Colt Government 45acp 1911. According to Colt's website this gun was made in 1980. I bought this gun off another INGO member probably 5 years ago. The previous owner didn't have any paperwork to show who did the custom work but said it was done by Gemini Customs. This thing has had a bunch of work done to it. The frame rails have been welded up and recut so the frame to slide fitment is tight. The front strap has the snakeskin treatment done to it. The frame has been bobtailed and The slide has a 45 degree bevel cut down both sides of the slide. The slide has high power cuts done to the front of the slide. The slide has been cut for Novak front and rear sights. It just got fresh Warren Tactical night sights put on by AllenM a few months ago. It also got freshly cerakoted black at the same time he installed the sights. Trigger and trigger group are Wilson Combat. Comes with 1 mag and a hard plastic case.
$1500obo FTF in Indianapolis Area, I live east of downtown but work in Avon at Diamond Collision.
Might take partial trade for a carry gun chambered in 40cal

The discoloration on the black is gun oil.
