I'm looking to sell my Springfield Armory Loaded lightweight Operator in 45 acp. This is a steel slide, alloy frame full featured 1911. It has a fully supported barrel with a very polished feed ramp, low profile novak style tritium night sights, ambi safety, a full length guide rod and a pic rail. The trigger (adjustable for overtravel) and hammer are skeletonized and there is no firing pin block (series 70). It has a flat and checkered mainspring housing and a flared ejection port. The skull g10 grips (non-magwell) are installed as well as a hogue finger groove front strap grip. I included a picture of the gun with the magwell and magwell grip installed as well. Very tight tolerances and a very crisp trigger.
The gun comes with original hard case, 12 x 7rd magazines, 6 with ed brown basepads, original chocobolo grips, two additional g10 skull grips, a GI style guid rod and plug, two different magwell (one hook stype and another integrated into the mainspring housing, as well as a backup Colt leaf spring. Also included but not pictured are a dual OWB magazine holster and an OWB paddle holster for the gun.
This gun is a pleasure to shoot but I don't shoot 45 as much and would like it to go to a more attentive owner.
