    Colt Target .22LR

    SOLD to a Colt collector.
    Price reduction:
$445 Includes 2 magazines (10 rounds) and the original box with paperwork.
I saw pricing for this Colt model on GunsInternational.com: $750.00
On Gunbroker I saw a starting bid for $489 + shipping, taxes & FFL fees.

I bought this August 2018 from a member who was retired and said he bought this Colt Target .22LR new b/c it was a Colt, but never shot it, not being a .22LR shooter b/c he liked the bigger guns.
I bought it since I liked the idea of an older, never-shot pistol and especially a Colt.
I shot it very little myself since I had so many different .22LR range guns.
It shot very well for my old eyes, and I never even got around to putting a red dot optic on it: a pic shown below.

I have been trimming the safe the past few months making room for other guns I have wanted to try and to reduce the number of guns I have with retirement hitting this summer.

A bit of history on the Colt .22LR Target:
When this manufacturer stopped making the Woodsman in 1977, it was without a rimfire pistol until the introduction of the stainless steel Colt .22 in 1994.
Colt only made it from 1994-98.
The Manual in the original box is dated 1995.
A target version, appropriately called the Colt Target .22LR, came out a year later.

This model features a polymer grip with an integral trigger guard and a 6-inch bull barrel with a recessed muzzle crown.
A full-length rib with adjustable sights are also standard equipment.
This ventilated rib on the top of the Colt Target .22LR was grooved to accommodate Weaver-style scope rings, allowing the installation of an optic sight, and was the mounting surface for the open sights.
It has a partridge-type front blade and the rear sight has a click-adjustable windage and elevation screws.
The manual safety is a crossbolt in the rear of the frame.
The rear sight was recessed into the rear of the rib.

A member here said he'd put 45,000 rounds through one he has.
Another member I know has had one for years, but didn't mention the round count.
I have read online in two places that it will take Beretta U22 Neos magazines.

Must have LTCH and IN driver's license.
I live in Wanamaker (SE Indy outside of E465).
    No shipping.

Took this pic today at the range. I think the gun can shoot better than I can.
If I kept it, I'd put a red dot on it.
