To become the choice of the FBI SWAT Teams back in 2000, administrators chose at random two of the five guns submitted for testing by Springfield. These guns had to shoot no more than a 1.5" group at 25 yards for three 10-shot groups from a Ransom Rest. Then the guns would be shot for 20,000 rounds in an endurance test, after which a second accuracy test would be conducted with no more than 15 percent degradation in accuracy being acceptable (1.725" group). Colt failed. Wilson Combat failed. The Springfield Professional passed!
This gun has been in service with the FBI SWAT Teams for 20 years. You aren't hearing any complaints! These guns are accurate, dependable, and bombproof! They are used by multiple agencies by the teams going into harm's way on a daily basis! You can bet your life on them!
