SOLD $250 firm
Kahr CT9, 9mm, CT9093, 8 round mags x2, 4" barrel, DAO trigger
I bought this from the original owner: a member who bought it in 2016, but didn't shoot it until late 2017.
He put about 300 rounds through it & I've put less than 200 rounds through it.
I really enjoyed range time & carrying this gun, but I have replaced it.
I liked a having DAO gun for CC w/o a manual safety.
Comes with:
- factory box
- extra magazine
- a comfortable Theis holster.
- all factory paperwork, lock & trigger "blocks"
The Kahr just feels good in the hand.
The CT line delivers a very slim profile with its single-stack magazine.
The CT9 is just big enough to make it fun to shoot at the range, and yet small enough for an awesome carry gun size.
The simplicity of the Kahr design is one of its primary selling points.
It is one of the main reasons why the Kahr pistols have such a reliable reputation.
The Kahr guns are machined tight.
Kahr design has a simpler fire control mechanism.
Kahr recommends using the slide stop to chamber the 1st round vs racking the slide: it's in their manuals.
The slides and barrels are machined from stainless steel instead of standard carbon ordnance grade steel.
The sublimely awesome trigger is actually metal versus being polymer, as are the magazines.
Even the recoil spring is a stainless double captive spring recoil assembly.
The magazines can be tough to load by hand by the 6th round. I use a mag loader.
You have to like a DAO trigger to appreciate this pistol or this isn't for you.
I have read where Kahr has the best trigger in any polymer pistol.
Kahr pistol triggers do have a smooth stacking single action feel from the beginning to the break.
Like all Kahr pistols, it is an extremely safe design and the trigger feel is closer to a really light, smooth and crisp double action revolver than a striker fired pistol trigger.
CT9 and void of any external safeties or magazine disconnect safeties, so you can fire the gun without a magazine in the gun.
Description & Dimensions:
