Well, I have been looking for one of these for awhile and finally found one. IIRC its an actual russian, but anyways, its the pioneering pistol for the 7.62x25 round. Its somewhat similar to the 1911, but with a few improvements to make it simpler. Anyways, has anyone here ever fired one or owns one? I like the idea of the bulk ammo and such, so thats a plus:rockwoot: Anyways, I'll check this before I go to work tonight, and I'm going tomorrow to look at it and most likely buy it.

I have 2 and I'm very happy with them.
Very well made pistol with the same recoil as 9mm.
    Mine are Polish and Romanian.
Romanians are selling for $220 Wholesale.

I bought a Polish earlier this year. Karl, have you had any trouble with the goofy safety location on the Romy? That keeps me from buying one of those.

I have a CZ52 chambered in the same round and it's like shooting a "hand-rifle". That round has got a ton of velocity!!! :rockwoot:

The Romy safety is actually well placed for my thumb, easy to operate.
CZ-52 has about twice the felt recoil of a Tok with the same ammo.
We did a side by side test and I like the Tok Much better.

Never fired the Tok in 7.62x25mm but i did have a chi com type 54 in 9mm. also known as the Norinco 213B. It was a 9mm model. I liked the size and weight... but the cheap safety sucked big time.
